September 2016: Christchurch NS Complete!

Tom O’Brien Construction are delighted to see works complete and Christchurch National School open on time for the start of the new school term.

There was a large scope of works involved in this €1.3m project, including the demolition of and refurbishment to existing 1950’s and 1980’s school buildings. Also included were major excavation works to allow for a new extension consisting of a GP hall, library/resource area, staff rooms, special ed rooms, circulation area, store, sanitary facilities and an impressive rooftop play area.

We wish Christchurch NS all the best with their new school facility. Well done to Tom O’Brien’s Contracts Manager Pat Roche and QS Nicky Furness for bringing together this successful project!
