Ballyduff National School posed significant logistical problems for the contractor and client. A number of classrooms were retained whilst other classrooms were moved to temporary accommodation. A mixture of new build and refurbishment took place whilst students and staff remained on site throughout. On-site safety is always paramount for Tom O’Brien Construction and was particularly crucial for successful completion of  this project.

The Tom O’Brien Construction team were subsequently invited back by the Board of Management to negotiate a further extension to the school, completed the following year.
