This was a major extension and renovation project at Holy Ghost Elderly Residential Home on the Cork Rd in Waterford.
The project involved the addition of 32 no. bedrooms & ensuites, a new reception area and offices, a visitor room, library and hair salon, living areas, all of the required ancillary facilities and associated external works. The project also involved substantial alterations to existing areas of the facility. All areas of the Residential Home remained live and occupied throughout the works.
A new high-quality upgrade to the original facility was achieved and works completed within the agreed time frame and substantially under budget.
“Special thanks to our contractors. Adding facilities at a residential care home, while it continues to operate, takes great planning, coordination and care from all involved”. – Master of the Board of Trustees Hilary Quinlan
