IRISH CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AWARD WINNERS 2024!

Tom O’Brien Construction were delighted to be announced as WINNERS of the ‘Healthcare Project of the Year’ Award at the Irish Construction Industry Awards 2024 for our Wexford General Hospital Fire Remediation Project!

The Awards Night and Gala evening was held at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre on November 7th 2024.

Well done to to everyone involved in this extremely complex and highly technical project that was the Major Re-build and Re-opening of the 4-storey Wexford General Hospital, following the devastating fire and evacuation of the Hospital in early 2023.

Well done to the Design and Client Teams for the major roles they played in overseeing the successful reopening of Wexford General Hospital in double quick time, under the most strenuous of circumstances.

Well done to Pat, Alan, Bosco and all of the TOBC team involved in this project, including all of our many subcontractors and specialists, who worked tirelessly around the clock for the last year and more meeting the most stringent of deadlines along the way.

This award is the deserved recognition for everybody’s efforts throughout this monumentally challenging project.

Our thanks to the HSE for placing their trust in Tom O’Brien Construction to oversee this major project. We sincerely hope their decision was justified.
