New Project Commencement – D&B Bundle of Six (6) School Upgrades
Following the end of the school term, works have now commenced on a Major multi-million-euro Design & Build (D&B) Contract to oversee the Refurbishment & Energy Upgrade of a bundle of Six (6) Nr. Separate Secondary Schools across Co. Wexford, due to be carried out over the summer months of 2026.
This is a significant undertaking being delivered to an extremely demanding and accelerated programme which will see nearly twenty-five (25) individual buildings across the Six (6) separate School Campuses upgraded and refurbished over the summer period.
Our Management & Procurement Teams have been working tirelessly behind the scenes over the last number of months to ensure the immediate and strong starts that we have already made across the various sites have been allowed to happen.
The list of schools include:
– Kennedy College, New Ross
– Colaiste Abbain, Adamstown
– St. Peter’s College, Wexford Town
– Enniscorthy Community School
– Colaiste an Atha, Kilmuckridge
– Gorey Community School
Works will focus on:
– Replacement of Windows & Doors
– Rooflight Replacement
– Upgrading of both Flat & Pitched Roofs
– External Wall Insulation
– Pumped Cavity Wall Insulation
– Attic Insulation
– Air Tightness Works
– Fit-out & Finishes throughout
