April 2021: TOBC appointed to Second Cath Lab at UHW

Tom O’Brien Construction are delighted to announce that we have officially been given the Ministerial go ahead to commence construction works imminently to the SECOND CARDIAC CATH LAB at University Hospital Waterford. As a Waterford based Company, we are happy to be part of this good news story for Waterford and the South East with construction starting on this essential piece of infrastructure next month. This past year has seen Tom O’Brien’s further strengthen our longstanding relationship with the HSE and rise to the challenge of providing a number of Fast-Track Essential Healthcare Works; providing 27 New ICU beds to Ely Hospital Wexford, A New Emergency Department Extension at Wexford General Hospital, the C19-Test Centre in Waterford City & we have fast-tracked a C19 extension and streaming facility to the Emergency Department Entrance in UHW.
