Dec 2022: 2nd Cardiac Cath Lab at UHW Complete!

The Second Cardiac Cath lab will be handed over to University Hospital Waterford in the coming days for their final commissioning processes ahead of going into operation. The development was reviewed by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly last week during his visit to Waterford. This was a highly challenging, complex and technical project built in the heart of the acute hospital immediately adjacent to the operating department and ED. The Tom O’Brien team is proud to now hand over such an important project and a much needed piece of critical infrastructure for the people of the South East.
