December 2017: HSE Facility handed over for Christmas
Tom O’Brien Construction have just completed a modernisation program for the HSE at their Lakefield House facility in Waterford. The project involved the total replacement of all external existing doors & windows, the installation of new kitchen facilities including the provision of new white goods. In addition external lighting was upgraded and the facility received a full repaint, both to the exterior and interior. From drainage works below the ground right up to a new chimney capping, the building received a proper top to toe sprucing up. All works were overseen by Waterford based Architect, Pat Halley. This complete overhaul was carried out by Murt Hourigan and our in house work force, assisted by Thomas O’Brien and Bosco Mahony in the head office. The works were precisely programmed as the facility remained live throughout. The works and dates were met or improved on throughout the project. Fast turn-arounds and happy clients are a specialty of ours.
