TOBC renews Heritage Contractors of Ireland Membership for 2024

Tom O’Brien Construction are Proud Members of the Prestigious “Heritage Contractors Association of Ireland” again for 2024.

Registered Heritage Contractors are skilled companies that deliver the traditional building trades for the conservation and restoration of heritage properties or sites.

Our most recent Heritage works include the Restoration and Conservation of an Historic detached five–bay two storey gothic revival former school building in Lismore, Waterford constructed in 1871. The building is included on the Register of Protected Structures (RPS) and the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH). This Historic building received new lime plaster render, external stone walls were raked and repointed and a multitude of conservation works were carried out internally including floor, joinery and window repairs.

This was one for our Conservation & Restoration craftsmen to be proud of.
