Nov 2021: Johnstown Castle Official Opening

Today the 11th of November 2021 saw the official opening of the historic Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum, & Gardens, in County Wexford attended by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue. Tom O’Brien Construction acted as main contractors for a successfully delivered, substantial multi-million euro restoration project – involving the major and careful renovation of the historic Johnstown Castle.

With a history on the site dating back over 850 years, the estate is now owned by Teagasc in partnership with the Irish Heritage Trust – with investment by Failte Ireland and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
