Tom O’Brien Construction have reached Practical Completion Stage at St. Senan’s School in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

This Major c. €12m Primary School development was overseen by TOBC’s management team consisting of Dan, Joe, Mark and Frank and was delivered on a complex sloping site in the heart of a busy residential housing estate.
TOBC worked with the Client, Design Team and Board of Management to carry out this project across multiple phases, all while the school campus remained live and operational.

Works involved in this project included;
◼ A major civils & groundworks package to allow for the installation of new modular classroom units
◼ The provision of a state-of-the-art new 2 storey extension along with GP Hall
◼ The complete refurbishment of the school’s existing facilities and buildings
◼ Major external works were also carried out about the school buildings providing for new play areas, new entrance roads, access ways, bus and car drop off points
◼ The final phase of works will be carried out in due course and will involve the removal of the temporary modular cabins and all associated pads and bases and the return of this area to a grass playing pitch.

This striking school development is the latest in a long line of school projects that TOBC have delivered to the Department of Education following Primary and Post-Primary School projects delivered across Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Cork and Tipperary in recent years.
