Tom O’Brien Construction were tasked by Seed Technology Ltd. to develop a 15 acre site at Belview Port in Gorteens, Co. Kilkenny into one of the most modern and advanced seed processing facilities in Europe . The site consists of 2 no. 5,500 sq m state of the art industrial units with associated office facilities and yard production areas.

The buildings are for grain and fertiliser processing and feature the most sophisticated, technically advanced machinery available for the seed industry. The project was developed in two phases, the initial site works/bulk excavation element were carried out in Phase 1 and the building works for the grain store, offices, weighbridges, concrete yards, new roadways and car parking areas, overground water storage bladder tanks and all external site works as part of Phase 2.
