Numerous projects have been carried out at University Hospital Waterford, ranging from small refurbishments and upgrades to the provision of new laboratories, ward extensions and new builds to various renovations and refurbishment projects. Specific projects completed includes new Angiograph Suites, a new Psychiatry Department, Haematology laboratories, revamp of coronary care and ICU wards, new cystic fibrosis unit, refurbishment of neo natal units, new pre-treatment area, revamp of sluice units, new main foyer & lobby. Sizeable enabling works projects have also been carried out including a major infrastructure package for the 5 storey c.8,000m2 €30.0 million Dunmore Wing.
