Restoration Works complete in Waterford City
Since January of this year, we have been carrying out some major conservation and restoration works to two of Waterford’s most historically important buildings and Protected Structures of National Importance, the Bishop’s Palace and City Hall / Theatre Royal in Waterford City’s Viking Triangle.
Some of the works involved across both of these buildings included:
– Major structural upgrades and repairs
– Existing render removal & Lime re-plastering
– Stone raking & repointing
– Natural Blue Bangor slate roof replacements
– Flat roof replacements
– New Fall arrest & Lightning Protection systems
– Lead replacement
– Historic Sliding Sash Window & Joinery replacements
Our status as Nationally Recognised and Registered Heritage Contractors allowed us to carry out these intrusive works as delicately as practicable for our Clients in Waterford City & County Council. We’re extremely proud of the completed works which add to our already impressive portfolio of Heritage Sector works.
Our thanks to all involved in this milestone project, including all of our specialist and traditional subcontractors & suppliers.
