September 2021: Glor na Mara School Phase 2 handed over

Last month saw us handover Glor na Mara Primary School in Tramore, Co. Waterford. This multimillion euro extension and refurbishment project was completed over two years in two separate phases. Phase 1 involved the construction of a major multi-classroom extension and Phase 2 involved another extension, part-demolition and the refurbishment of the existing school buildings including all ancillary external works. All works were carried out on a live school campus requiring careful planning and strict H&S measures to be in place at all times. Well done to TOBC’s Management Team of Joe, Pat, Mark, Alan and all of the TOBC staff on the successful completion of this project and to all of our subcontractors involved. Our thanks to the Design Team of C.J. Falconer & Associates, Macminn O’Reilly Mahon, Hayes Higgins Partnership and GSP Fire for their direction and collaboration on this substantial project. Finally, we would like to wish Principal Mr. Pat O’Mahony and all staff the best with their new state of the art facility and thank them for their patience and compliance over the preceding two years.
