Pathology Laboratory Extension – New Project commencing at UHW

Tom O’Brien Construction have this week commenced works on another Major Multi-Million-Euro Healthcare project at University Hospital Waterford for our long-time Clients in the HSE.

This project will involve the construction of a new Pathology Laboratory Extension, a striking 2-storey state of the art Laboratory building, located beside the A&E Department on the existing Hospital Campus.

We’re delighted to be back working again in UHW following the successful handover of a number of projects to the Hospital last year including;
1️⃣ The High-Profile Cardiac Cath Lab
2️⃣ A New Cataract Facility
3️⃣ A New Modular Outpatients Department
4️⃣ A New Modular Rapid Access Unit

We are always happy to be working alongside our Design Team Partners in Wejchert Architects, Varming Consulting Engineers, Atkins Realis Cost Consultants and Malone O’Regan Consulting Engineers. We look forward to collaborating with them over the next year on what is set to be another successful Healthcare Project for our highly experienced Healthcare Delivery Teams.
