Tom O’Brien Construction are delighted to announce the successful delivery of a new Decant Unit at Wexford General Hospital.

This €1.1m Healthcare project entailed the upgrade of an exisiting 14 bed ward on the Wexford General Hospital campus. The works involved operating within a live hospital, with substantial upgrades to the M&E services all co-ordinated by our contracts managers and foremen on-site.

Works also included the remodelling and upgrade of the main hospital street corridor and the installation of a new link corridor at the front elevation of the hospital. A new deliveries ward was also completed within the time frame.

A keen collaborative effort throughout the project from the client, design team and all involved from Tom O’Brien’s ensured the delivery of a first-rate healthcare facility. Tom O’Briens’ ability to deliver high quality projects, while working within the constraints of a live campus setting, safely, on time and with the minimum of interfernce continue to be the driving factors behind our trusted relationship with the HSE.
