Nov 2019: Demolition and Repair works to Old Wexford County Hospital underway
We return to Wexford this week carrying out more Heritage / Conservation works in the Model County.
We will be undertaking improvements for the HSE to one of their older buildings located in the Lakin Wing of the old Wexford County Hospital on the grounds of Wexford General Hospital.
Some demolition, lime mortar repointing and natural slate roof replacement is required to reinvigorate this office building and keep the ravages of time at bay. Contracts Manager Pat Roche will be leading this project, looking after our team of scaffolders, masons, roofers and various subcontractors. Pat continues his conservation and heritage works in Wexford having recently completed the refurbishment of Johnstown Castle to national acclaim for Teagasc and the Heritage Trust. Nice to be working with Wexford HSE and John Norris from Malone O’Regan Engineers again.
